Hydrofoiling in Cyprus

Starting this June a new type of ride is offered by Crest Watersports to its guests - the hydrofoiling. This is riding a water ski made by Sky Ski while sitting like on a chair and using an underwater wing to ride above the water surface up to almost 1 m. Rides are possible also on rough water when skis and wakebaords are already idling. There are more than 100 different tricks you can do on the hydrofoil, including backrolls, frontflips, 360, KGB... and jumps out of the water up to 8 m high! Age limit starts from 11 and up, there is no weight limit - people around 150 kg can still do backflips on the Sky Ski!

The Sky Ski was brought to the Crest Watersports by a qualified British Waterski and Wakeboard instructor Ivars from Riga. He is also a very keen hydrofoiler and has a large teaching experience from his own sports centre called Udensklubs at Riga, Latvia. http://www.udensklubs.lv
